He then attended the California School of Professional Psychology - Fresno where he earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology. In 2003, Dr. Gallo became board certified in Clincial Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Since 2000, Dr. Gallo has been the psychologist in charge of Kaiser-Permanente's Autism Spectrum Disoders Diagnostic Service in the San Fernando and outlying valleys of Los Angeles. In that time, he has conducted approximatley 1,500 evaluations. Dr Gallo's book, Diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Lifespan Perspective is the first of it's kind, as it is dedicated to teaching professionals how to identify and diagnose autism spectrum disorders in all age groups.
