Description:

Lamictal (lamotrigine) is an antiepileptic drug. Lamotrigine is in the phenyltriazine class. Its chemical name is 6-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazine- 3,5-diamine. Lamictal is manufactured in tablet form in doses of 25-mg, 100-mg, 150-mg, and 200-mg.
 
Indications:Lamictal is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures in adults. Although not officially indicated it is also sometimes used as a medication to help stabilize mood.
