Continuing Education for Michigan Nurses

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for MI nurses:

  • 25 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 2 hours in the area of pain and symptom management, and at least 1 hour in identifying victims of human trafficking

Our new 1-Credit course on Human Trafficking meets the continuing education requirements for healthcare providers in Michigan.

CE Approvals

The Michigan Board of Nursing accepts courses from any provider who is licensed by another state nursing board. At Health is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CA BRN), Provider # CEP 17059.
