CE requirements for Georgia Nurses (LPN, RN):
Licensed practice nurses (LPNs)
- Twenty (20) hours of continuing education every 2 years
- Courses must be related to nursing practice.
- Examples include offerings related to specialty areas of nursing practice such as research, case management, health policy, forensics, mental health, or complementary alternative therapies
- May be taken online
Registered nurses (RNs)
- Thirty (30) hours of CE every 2 years
- Courses must be related to nursing practice.
- Examples include offerings related to specialty areas of nursing practice such as research, case management, health policy, forensics, mental health, or complementary alternative therapies
- May be taken online
