Continuing Education for Nurses in New Mexico

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for NM nurses (RN, LPN):

  • 30 contact hours every 2 years
  • Content must be related to nursing

CE Approvals

The New Mexico Board of Nursing accepts courses from providers approved by other state boards of nursing. At Health is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CA BRN), Provider # CEP 17059.
