Continuing Education for Arkansas Social Workers

CE requirements for AR social workers:

  • 48 hours of CE every 2 years, including 3 hours of professional ethics
  • Social workers can earn a maximum of 20 hours online

CE Approvals: According to the AR Social Work Licensing Board, it is the licensee's responsibility, using his/her professional judgment, to determine the programs that are applicable and appropriate to his/her professional development as a social worker. Programs for social workers are available for continuing education credit through the co-sponsorship of At Health, Inc., and Amedco, LLC. Amedco, #1346, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Amedco maintains responsibility for the program.
