Continuing Education for Professional Counselors in Alaska

CE requirements for Alaska professional counselors:

  • Must complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 3 hours of professional ethics
  • No more than one-half of the total number of CE hours may be earned from individual study

CE Approvals: The Alaska Board of Professional Counselors accepts programs from NBCC and APA approved sponsors. At Health is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP #6719). At Health is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health maintains responsibility for the program.
