Autism Spectrum Disorder is the first of the new “spectrum disorders” in the DSM-5, and it is situated within the new category of Neurodevelopmental Disorders. In this on-demand video program, Dr. Greg Neimeyer addresses this new category of disorders, including Intellectual Disability, Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder, and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, among others, and crosswalks these disorders over to the ICD-10-CM, as well. Video illustrations and applications highlight key diagnostic features and considerations.

Greg Neimeyer, PhD, is a professor in the department of psychology at the University of Florida and a Fellow of APA's Div. 17 (Society of Counseling Psychology). A previous chair of the executive board of the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs in the United States, Dr. Neimeyer has also been inducted as a lifetime member into the Academy of Distinguished Teacher Scholars. At the invitation of the American Psychiatric Association, he completed their Train-the-Trainers Institute in San Francisco at the official launch of the DSM-5. Dr. Neimeyer has published reviews of the DSM-5 and a Primer for Users of the ICD-10-CM for the American Psychological Association where he currently directs the Office of Continuing Education in Psychology.
