Continuing Education for Mental Health Counselors in New Hampshire

CE requirements for NH mental health counselors (LCMHC):

• 40 CE credits every 2 years
• At least 30 of the 40 credits, including 6 CE credits in ethics, shall be from Category A (home study) as described in Mhp 402.02(a)(d)
• 3 CE credits in suicide prevention from Category A
• All of our courses qualify as Category A courses
• Maximum of 20 Category A credits may be earned online
• Renewal Date: 2 years from date of issuance

CE Approvals

New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice accepts programs from NBCC approved sponsors. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice accepts programs from APA approved sponsors. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

LCMHCs in NH can earn 20 of their Category A CE credits online through athealth.com.
