CE requirements for ND psychologists (PhD, PsyD):
- Psychologists must complete 40 credits of continuing education every 2 years, including at least 3 hours of professional ethics, law, or jurisprudence
- Psychologists can earn a maximum of 20 credits by correspondence or online courses, recordings, or independent readings
Licensees supervising psychology residents or registered applied behavior analysts must have a minimum of 3 CE credits every reporting cycle.
CE Approvals
The North Dakota State Board of Psychologist Examiners accepts programs approved by the association of social work boards (ASWB) approved continuing education (ACE) program for content related to practice authorized in North Dakota century code 43-32. At Health, LLC, Provider #1707, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. At Health, LLC, maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 5/3/2023-5/3/2026. The North Dakota State Board of Psychologist Examiners accepts programs from APA approved sponsors. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.ND psychologists can earn 20 of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
