Laura Slap-Shelton, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist specializing in neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, psychotherapy with children, and cognitive remediation. The Senior Editor of The Child Therapy News, she is also a consultant to Brighton Place in Chalfont, PA, and Eugenia Hospital in Lafayette Hill, PA. As clinical supervisor of the community skills program at Counseling and Rehabilitation, Inc in Wyomissing, PA, Dr. Slap-Shelton supervises counselors working with head injury patients. The co-author of Take a Deep Breath: The Kids Play-Away Stress Book and The Schema in Clinical Psychoanalysis, she has published numerous articles on various topics in psychoanalysis.
