CE requirements for MN social workers (LSW, LGSW, LISW, LICSW):
- All licensees must earn 40 CE hours, including 2 hours in ethics every 2 years
- LICSW licensees must take 24 of the 40 CE hours in clinical content
- Licensing supervisors must take 6 of the 40 CE hours in the practice of supervision
- 15 of the 40 CE hours may be taken online
CE Approvals
Athealth.com courses are available to social workers in MN.ÂAt Health, LLC, Provider #1707, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. At Health, LLC, maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 5/3/2023-5/3/2026.
