Continuing education requirements for marriage and family therapists (MFTs) in Maryland:
- Must earn forty (40) CE hours every 2 years.
- At least thirty (30) of these hours must be in Category A activities. Not more than ten (10) CE hours can be in Category B activities. Online distance learning courses are considered Category B activities.
CE Approvals
The Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists accepts courses offered by providers approved by NBCC and NAADAC. At Health, LLC is approved as a continuing education provider by the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Provider #148460.At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
