CE requirements for NJ marriage and family therapists (LMFT):
- 40 hours of CE every 2 years, including 5 credits in ethics related to marriage and family therapy and 3 credits in social and cultural competence
- 20 credits can be earned online
CE Approvals
The NJ State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners accepts courses from NBCC approved providers. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. The NJ State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners accepts courses from APA approved providers. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.NJ marriage and family therapists can earn 20 of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
