Continuing Education for New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Counselors

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for NH addiction counselors (LADC, MLADC, LCS, CRSW):

Licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC)
Master licensed alcohol and drug counselor (MLADC)

48 hours of continuing education every 2 years

Licensed clinical supervisor (LCS)

48 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours related to supervision

Certified recovery support worker (CRSW)

12 hours of CE every 2 years
