Continuing Education for Social Workers in New Hampshire

CE requirements for NH social workers:

  • 40 CE credits every 2 years
  • At least 30 of the 40 credits, including 6 CE credits in ethics, shall be from Category A
  • 3 CE credits in suicide prevention from Category A
  • All of our courses qualify as Category A courses
  • Maximum of 20 Category A credits may be earned online

CE Approvals

New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice accepts programs from APA approved sponsors. At Health is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

The State Board of New Hampshire accepts programs offered by ASWB approved sponsors.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.  Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program.  State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course.
