Subject Matter Expert:
Colin Pereira-Webber, MA, is the associate director of the child and adolescent psychotherapy program at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis and for many years has been a therapist at the Barr-Harris Center for the Study of Separation and Loss in Childhood at the Institute. Mr. Webber has presented many seminars and workshops on the subject of death and parent loss in childhood, and he has published on the topic of childhood bereavement in a number of books and journals.

Barbara Alexander, LCSW, BCD, is a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work and the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. After working for 13 years in child psychiatric settings and 30 years in private practice, she is now founder and president of On Good Authority, and an expert interviewer.
