Continuing Education for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) in Oregon

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for Oregon LMFTs:
  • 40 hours of CE every 2 years, including 6 hours of ethics and 4 hours of cultural competency each reporting period
  • Licensees who supervise registered interns must complete 3 clock hours of supervision related training within each reporting period

CE Approvals:

The Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists accepts courses offered by NBCC approved providers. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
