CE requirements for Alaska marriage and family therapists:
An applicant for renewal of a marital and family therapy license who has been licensed 18 months or more of the concluding license period shall document completion of 45 contact hours of continuing education acceptable to the board that was earned during the concluding license period including at least:
- 2 contact hours of professional ethics, 2 contact hours in addictions, 2 contact hours in cross cultural education, and 2 contact hours in issues of domestic violence
- An applicant renewing a license who participates in teletherapy must complete two hours of continuing education that relates to teletherapy practice and that includes teletherapy ethics
- No more than one-half of the total number of CE hours may be earned from individual study
- Board accepts courses from other behavioral health disciplines as long as program relates to marriage and family therapy

CE Approvals
At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
