Continuing Education for MFTs in North Dakota

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for ND marriage and family therapists (LMFT):

  • LMFTs must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours of professional ethics
  • Licensed associates must complete 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours of professional ethics

CE Approvals

The North Dakota Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board requires that all courses be submitted individually to them for approval. Therefore, at the present time At Health courses are not available to LMFTs in North Dakota. Licensees can make a request to the ND Board for approval of individual courses.
