Continuing Education for Mississippi Marriage and Family Therapists

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for MS LMFTs:

  • 24 hours, every 2 years, including 4 hours of professional ethics which must be completed in face-to-face learning
  • 6 credits can be taken via distance learning, if pre-approved by the Board

CE Approvals

The Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists requires that CE providers obtain prior board approval for LMFTs. Athealth.com has not sought pre-approval from the Board. Therefore, athealth.com courses are not currently available for LMFTs in Mississippi.
