Author Bio
Dr. Amanda Zelechoski, J.D., Ph.D., ABPP is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist and attorney. She is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and specializes in trauma. She has worked clinically with adults, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. Currently, Dr. Zelechoski is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Valparaiso University, where she teaches a wide variety of psychology and counseling courses. As the director of the Psychology, Law, and Trauma Lab, her primary research interests include trauma in at-risk and delinquent youth and forensic mental health assessment. She is the co-author of Activities for Teaching Psychology and Law: A Guide for Instructors. In addition, Dr. Zelechoski is a Risk Management Consultant for The Trust and provides training and consultation to numerous mental health, law enforcement, and correctional agencies.
Dr. Jeremy Sharp is a licensed psychologist and Clinical Director at the Colorado Center for Assessment & Counseling, a private practice that he founded in 2009 and has grown to include nine licensed clinicians, three clinicians in training, and a full administrative staff. Dr. Sharp earned his undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina before getting his Master’s and PhD in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. These days, Dr. Sharp specializes in psychological and neuropsychological evaluation with kids and adolescents.
As the host of the Testing Psychologist Podcast, Dr. Sharp provides private practice consulting for psychologists and other mental health professionals who want to start or grow psychological testing services in their practices. He live in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife (also a therapist) and two young kids.
