★★★★☆ 4.33 (21 reviews) ✓ 100% would recommend to colleagues

Description

In this interview, Dr. Stephen Kanne and Dr. Jeremy Sharp cover a TON of information about the ADOS-2 and autism spectrum assessment in general. They spend about half of  the hour talking about the GAIN program, a tele-training approach that allows clinicians around the world to observe and code ADOS administrations right alongside experts in the field. The other half is spent digging into ASD assessment in general. Here are just a few additional topics that they cover:

  • The ideal autism battery to balance efficiency and quality of assessment
  • Does the ADOS capture “high functioning” individuals and females?
  • Are saliva tests valid at this point?
  • Common ADOS myths debunked
  • Is autism assessment a neuropsychological practice?
