Mark Masi, PsyD, an accomplished public speaker who lectures on topics related to adolescents and adults, describes his model of therapy for treating aggressive adolescents. He outlines how therapists can challenge teens to come up with solutions that facilitate their treatment goals.

Matthew Selekman, LCSW, is coordinator of training with MCC Behavioral Care, Inc., in Rosemont, Illinois. He holds an adjunct faculty position in the marriage and family therapy program of Northern Illinois University and is a lecturer and clinical associate for the school of social service administration at the University of Chicago. Mr. Selekman also has a private practice specializing in brief treatment with adolescents and adults. He is the author of "Family Therapy Approaches with Adolescents Substance Abusers" and "Pathways to Change: Brief Therapy Solutions with Difficult Adolescents." He is also an approved supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Mark Masi, PsyD, received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology where he is an adjunct clinical faculty member. In addition to his private practice, he is a consulting psychologist at a multi-specialty medical practice and a staff affiliate at Columbia Woodland Hospital in suburban Chicago. His previous clinical work includes positions as director of psychology training at a community mental health center and clinical director at an out-patient substance abuse program. An accomplished public speaker in his field, Dr. Masi lectures both nationally and locally on topics in the areas of adolescent and adult assessment and the treatment of substance abuse and eating disorders.

After working for 13 years in child psychiatric settings and 30 years in private practice, she is now founder and president of On Good Authority, and an expert interviewer.
