Continuing Education for Colorado Psychologists

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for CO psychologists (PhD, PsyD):

Effective after August 31, 2017, Colorado psychologists must complete

  • 40 PDH (professional development hours) every 2 years
  • Professional development hours (PDH) must be directly relevant to psychology
  • All hours can be earned online

CE Approvals

The Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners does not approve courses, but will accept relevant courses from APA approved providers. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

CO psychologists can earn all forty (40) of their professional development hours (PDH) online through athealth.com.
