Continuing Education (CE) for Licensed Professional Counselors in Virginia

Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) must take:

• Twenty (20) hours of continuing education (CE) each year, including two (2) hours of ethics courses
• Virginia Board of Counseling accepts online learning and home study
• Renewal Date: 6/30 Annually

CE approvals:

At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

At Health, LLC is approved as a continuing education provider by the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Provider #148460.

Virginia licensed professional counselors (LPCs) and licensed substance abuse treatment practitioners (LSATP) can take all twenty (20) of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
