Continuing education (CE) requirements for licensed professional counselors (LPC, LPCA, and LPC Supervisors) in North Carolina:
- Forty (40) continuing education (CE) hours every 2 years, including a minimum of 3 hours of ethics. The required Jurisprudence Exam (which is not offered by athealh.com) counts for 5 contact hours in ethics.
- Renewal date: June 30th of the renewal year
- LPC Supervisors must take a minimum of 10 hours in clinical supervision. This is in addition to the 40 hours for a total of 50 CE hours.
North Carolina licensed professional counselors can earn fifteen (15) of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
