Continuing Education for Alcohol and Drug Counselors in Nebraska

CE requirements for NE licensed alcohol and drug counselors (LADC):

• 40 hours of CE every 2 years
• 20 of the 40 hours must be alcohol and drug specific
• 15 hours can be earned online
• Renewal: 9/1 of  even-numbered year

CE Approvals

The Nebraska Division of Behavioral Health accepts programs from providers approved by NAADAC.

NE alcohol and drug counselors can earn 15 of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
