CE requirements for CO psychologists (PhD, PsyD):
Effective after August 31, 2017, Colorado psychologists must complete
- 40 PDH (professional development hours) every 2 years
- A maximum of 10 PDH can be carried from the last license period to the next if the
hours were earned within three months of the license expiration date and are more
than the required 40 hours. - Complete an ethics course offered by the American Psychological Association, a state medical
association, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, or a regionally
accredited institution of higher education. - Professional development hours (PDH) must be directly relevant to psychology
- All hours can be earned online
