Continuing Education for Licensed Professional Counselors in New Jersey

CE requirements for NJ professional counselors (LPC, LAC) and rehabilitation counselors (LRC):

40 hours of CE every 2 years, including 5 credits in ethics and 3 credits in social and cultural competency
Board accepts online courses
Renewal Date: 6/30 Biennial year

CE Approvals

The NJ Professional Counselor Examiners Committee accepts courses from NBCC approved providers. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
