CE requirements for TN psychologists (PhD, PsyD):
- Forty (40) hours of continuing education (CE) credit every two (2) years
- Including three (3) hours pertaining to TN Statutes and Rules and APA Ethics Code
- Including three (3) hours on cultural diversity
- Limited to twenty (20) hours via the Internet
CE Approvals
The Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology accepts formal activities which arepsychological in nature, provide documentation of attendance, and have a preassigned number of CE credits. Offerings can be sponsored by a regional psychological association, a state psychological association, a recognized and relevant national, regional or state professional credentialing body.
At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. At Health, LLC, maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 5/3/2023-5/3/2026.
Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology accepts programs from APA approved sponsors (Type I). At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
