CE requirements for professional counselors in Wisconsin:

  • Thirty (30) credit hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years
  • Must include four (4) credit hours of ethics and professional boundaries
  • Board accepts online courses
  • Renewal date: February 28, odd years

CE Approvals: The WI Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board accepts courses from providers approved by APA, NBCC, ASWB, NAADAC, and others.
