Continuing Education for Wisconsin Professional Counselors

CE requirements for professional counselors in Wisconsin:

  • Thirty (30) credit hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years
  • Must include four (4) credit hours of ethics and professional boundaries
  • Board accepts online courses
  • Renewal date: March, odd years

CE Approvals

The WI Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board accepts courses from providers approved by APA, NBCC, ASWB, NAADAC, and others. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
