CE requirements for LCSWs in Delaware:
- For each renewal period, 40 hours are required
- At least 6 of the hours shall be in the area of professional ethics
- At least one of the hours shall be in the area of mandatory reporting
- The Board will accept a maximum of 10 continuing education credits for Self-Directed Activities. The maximum number of credits that will be granted for any particular self-directed activity is indicated in subsection 7.2.6.4 below.
- Renewal Date: 1/31 of odd years
CE requirements for LBSWs in Delaware:
- For each renewal period, 20 hours are required
- At least 6 of the hours shall be in the area of professional ethics
- At least one of the hours shall be in the area of mandatory reporting
- The Board will accept a maximum of 10 continuing education credits for Self-Directed Activities. The maximum number of credits that will be granted for any particular self-directed activity is indicated in subsection 7.2.6.4 below.
- License renewal periods last two complete calendar years, beginning February 1 and ending January 31 of odd-numbered years, for example, beginning February 1, 2007 and ending January 31, 2009.
CE requirements for LMSWs in Delaware:
- For each renewal period, 30 hours are required
- At least 6 of the hours shall be in the area of professional ethics
- At least one of the hours shall be in the area of mandatory reporting
- License renewal periods last two complete calendar years, beginning February 1 and ending January 31 of odd-numbered years, for example, beginning February 1, 2007 and ending January 31, 2009.
- The Board will accept a maximum of 10 continuing education credits for Self-Directed Activities. The maximum number of credits that will be granted for any particular self-directed activity is indicated in subsection 7.2.6.4 below.
CE Approvals
At Health, LLC, Provider #1707, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 5/3/2023-5/3/2026.
