CE requirements for TN Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors:
- Fifteen (15) contact hours of continuing education (CE) each calendar year
- Must include three (3) hours of ethics
- Maximum of six (6) hours can be taken online
A Qualified Clinical Supervisor (QCS) must complete a minimum of five (5) additional contact hours of training annually, in addition to the normal fifteen (15) contact hours. These additional hours must be specific to alcohol and drug supervision with at least three (3) of the five (5) additional hours specific to ethics in clinical supervision
CE Approvals
The Board of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors accepts courses from providers approved by NAADAC.
