CE requirements for NE certified marriage and family therapists (CMFT):
- 32 hours of CE, including 2 hours of ethics, every 2 years
- Online limited to 20 hours per renewal period
- Renewal: September 1st of every even-numbered year
CE Approvals: The Nebraska Division of Behavioral Health accepts relevant programs from providers approved by the APA. At Health is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health maintains responsibility for the program and its content.
The State Board of Nebraska accepts programs offered by ASWB approved sponsors. Programs are available for continuing education credit through the co-sponsorship of At Health, LLC, and Amedco, LLC. Amedco, #1346, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Amedco maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 6/24/2016 to 6/24/2019.
