Continuing Education for Ohio Professional Counselors

CE requirements for OH counselors (LPC, LPC-S, LPCC, LPCC-S):

30 clock hours of CE every 2 years, including 3 hours of ethics
LPCC-S and LPC-S holding the supervising designation must also include 3 hours of supervisory training in addition to ethics
Board accepts 30 hours of online training for counselors

CE Approvals

The Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board requires that each CE course be pre-approved individually for approval. Therefore, athealth.com courses are not available for OH counselors at this time. After completing a course, counselors may request post program approval from the Board.
