Continuing Education for Professional Counselors in Nebraska

CE requirements for NE mental health counselors (CPC, LMHP, LIMHP):

• 32 hours of CE, including 2 hours of ethics, every 2 years
• Online limited to 20 hours per renewal period
• Renewal Date: 9/1 even-numbered years

Nebraska does not review or approve CE offerings.

CE Approvals

The Nebraska Division of Behavioral Health accepts programs from providers approved by the APA. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
