Continuing Education for Psychologists in DC

Attention: Several states and disciplines have relaxed requirements regarding live / in person Continuing Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check with your board to see the most current requirements.

CE requirements for psychologists in Washington DC:

  • Psychologists must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 3 hours of ethics and 3 hours of cultural competence
  • DC psychologists can earn 15 CE hours online
  • Renewal: Dec 31, odd-numbered years

CE Approvals

The District of Columbia Board of Psychology accepts programs from APA approved sponsors. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

DC psychologists can earn fifteen (15) of their CE credits online through athealth.com.
