Continuing Education for Social Workers in Michigan

CE requirements for MI social workers (LMSW, LBSW):

  • 45 hours of continuing education every 3 years, including 5 hours in ethics, 2 hours in pain and symptom management, and at least 1 hour in identifying victims of human trafficking
  • One-half (22.5) of the required CE hours can be taken online

CE Approvals:

At Health programs are available for social workers in Michigan. 

At Health, LLC, Provider #1707, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.  ACE provider approval period: 5/3/2023-5/3/2026.
