Continuing Education for NM Marriage and Family Therapists

CE requirements for marriage and family therapists in New Mexico (LMFT, LAMFT):

  • 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours of ethics
  • Licensees who provide supervision must include 3 hours of supervision
  • 12 hours can be earned online
  • Renewal: September 30, even-numbered years

CE Approvals

The New Mexico NM Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice accepts programs from providers approved by the APA. At Health is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. At Health maintains responsibility for the program and its content.
