CE requirements for marriage and family therapists in New Mexico (LMFT, LAMFT):
- 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours of ethics
- Licensees who provide supervision must include 3 hours of supervision
- 12 hours can be earned online
- Renewal: September 30, even-numbered years
CE Approvals
The New Mexico NM Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice accepts programs from providers approved by NAADAC. At Health, LLC is approved as a continuing education provider by the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Provider #148460.The New Mexico NM Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice accepts programs from providers approved by NBCC. At Health, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6949. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. At Health, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
The New Mexico NM Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice accepts programs from providers approved by the APA. At Health, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
