CE Requirements for Psychologists in Illinois

Illinois psychologists (PhD, PsyD) are now required to take twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years. At least three (3) of the 24 hours must include courses in professional ethics.

The Illinois Clinical Psychologist Licensing and Disciplinary Board accepts courses offered by APA (American Psychological Association) approved providers, such as athealth.com

Psychologists can take a maximum of eighteen (18) CE credits via online learning. Renewal date is September 30 of even-numbered years.
