Continuing Education for Ohio MFT

Attention: We work hard to maintain accurate information, but state boards frequently update their rules. As the licensee, you are solely responsible for interpreting your board's rules, ensuring course relevancy, and meeting all requirements for your state. CE requirements for Ohio marriage and family therapists (LMFT):

  • 30 clock hours of CE every 2 years, including 3 hours of ethics
  • Board accepts 30 hours of online training for MFTs, but courses must be pre-approved by the Board

CE Approvals

The Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board requires that each CE course be pre-approved individually for approval. Therefore, athealth.com courses are not available for OH marriage and family therapists at this time.  However, after completing a course, MFTs may be able to request post program approval from the Board.
